The DF2.5S is the smallest and lightest 4-stroke outboard motor ever made by Suzuki, but like all Suzuki 4-stroke engines, it is extremely reliable. Maintenance is simple and service intervals are moderate. It stays clean and economical while meeting the strictest emission standards.

Its compact design (the engine can be rotated 360 degrees) and light weight make it the ideal choice for dinghies, canoes, and inflatables, and it is as easy to maneuver as it is to store. The motor is quiet and smooth, partly due to its water cooling. In addition, for higher crossbars such as dinghies, old rigging, etc., the range is now being expanded with a long shaft model.
