Fuel economy and the environment were the main factors in the development of this new generation of Suzuki four-stroke outboard motors. Thanks to the revolutionary Lean Burn Control System, the engine management system can determine the exact minimum amount of fuel required in any given situation, allowing the engine to run on an extremely lean mixture. This technology, combined with the multipoint injection system, enables the DF100B, DF70A, and DF90A to achieve extremely low fuel consumption, by far the lowest in their class! Like all Suzuki electronic fuel injection outboard engines, the DF100B, DF70A, and DF90A also meet the most stringent European emissions requirements.
