Application of Antifouling

After only one year in the water, this aluminum sloop looked like it does in the first photo. Hundreds of mussels had also found their way onto the hull. The customer experienced too much resistance when sailing due to this weight and came to us for advice. We treated the part of the hull below the waterline with antifouling. This will prevent further fouling. The difference was immediately noticeable during the first voyage. We also polished the part above the waterline, restoring the aluminum's shine and nourishing it.
